Snow again

Very cold again today.  I had to break the ice on the chicken and goat water.  They don't seem to mind the cold.  We've started letting the chickens out into the garden but they have a habit of making for our neighbbour's flower beds!  Perhaps because they have bark chippings on that they can spread everywhere.  They stay there a while until they've made a mess and eaten all the grubs they can find then move on elsewhere. We have had some snow flurries today but nothing like the amount we had just after Christmas when we couldn't get out for nearly a week.  At least it's getting lighter now in the mornings and evenings.
